Add equipment privately and have them brought public with pictures and manufacturers links. Equipment including BC, octopus, oxygen tanks, wetsuits, dive computers, masks, flippers, snorkels can be associated to dives and used as maintenance logs and reminders. Add locations and shops from all over the world including, North America, South America, Australia, Europe, and Asia. Have all your locations brought public and information managed by users and shops. All locations and shops will have their coordinates mapped using the Google Maps API. Add marine life and have it brought public with pictures and Wikipedia data so your friends can associate them to their dives and further educate themselves on the marine life to expect in global locations. All marine life are mapped against the locations of the dives they have been associated to. Add friends and view all their activity including their private data and dive logs. View photo galleries and research marine life seen by your scuba buddies and instructors. View all friends on a map to get a visual depiction of the coverage of your own custom built dive community. Communicate with all your friends using the guestbook located on their profile page. Keep current with news and happenings in the global scuba diving community with the community news section. Community news is a combination of news resources and articles published around the world chosen by us to best reflect the latest relevant events in Scuba Diving. Search the entire database of data to find information that will better help you choose your next diving location and shop partnership. Export your dive log to PDF documentation to keep a hard copy available to bring with you on boats and liveaboards. Import data from many brands of dive computers. Create a blog and view industry celebrity blogs including introctors and dive masters from around the world. Some upcoming features to expect include the ability to plan your next trip by selecting a location, then choosing a shop that best fits your needs. Once you make a decision based upon location, reputation, and researching the shop you will be able to view and schedule your dive through a live web based calendar. These will be current, accurate and reflect live data.
